"Freedom" by Nachi "the poet" Aguboshim
Break their shackles from your limbs
Like being Baptised and removing sin
And take direction of your life like the compass is the very heart that beats
And stand as your own person on this now firm structure called your feet
Oppressed for centuries so we now emerge in a new era for our people
Setting our targets higher is what we must now do
Taking knowledge from those before us and applying it the best way we can
Positivity is now the key so no more talk of the "White Man"
Free yourself from physical and mental bonds and tap into that potential within your DNA
Don't perpetuate their black stereotypes for you are destined for a greater day
I say this as years ago I lacked the awareness and I too could see
But step into the light my friend and you alone will set you free
Peace
Peace
